PureGold 2025 will kick off at the beginning of May with our series of videos, concerts and undergrad degree shows. PureGold[REDUX] is our showcase for postgrads in September.
PureGold is an annual music festival that celebrates and showcases the work coming out of the Goldsmiths Department of Music.
PureGold takes place during May and June in venues across South-East London and PureGold [REDUX] showcases our postgraduate students in September, with a final MMus show in November, with work from Creative Practice, Composition, Sonic Arts, Performance & Related Studies and Popular Music students.
Attended by music fans, industry, students and staff alike, PureGold isn’t just a music festival - it’s a platform for emerging artists to launch their careers.
"PureGold was the first milestone in my artistic career. Three years of hard work on the undergraduate degree culminating in a 30 minute set at The Albany, with every minute detail from the set to the styling slaved and sweated over. I felt invincible when I stepped out on to that stage.” - FEMME
Acts that have recently played at PureGold include: Puma Blue, Another Sky, Arlo Day, Brooke Bentham, James Blake, Katy B, Rosie Lowe, Portico Quartet, and many, many more.
