About Dinah Hayward

I am an interdisciplinary, experimental artist, with a background in fine arts, specialisng in photography. After completing a degree in Creative Music Technology at Falmouth University, I continued onto the Sonic Arts Masters at Goldsmiths University. In the last year, I have begun to incorporate film making into my practice, which I plan to pursue in future. Professionally I have held various educational posts as a teacher, peripatetic tutor for the Bristol Music Service, and lecturer in charge of the music module on a Creative Arts Therapies degree course. In the past two years I have been working with talented young producers on The Alchemy Project at Goldsmiths, alongside a management role at The Pound Arts Centre in Wiltshire. I have been involved in sound making practices my whole adult life, playing guitar, a variety of percussion, singing and facilitation. It has been a sheer joy to develop my own artistic practice over the last five years, and I now look forward to my next sonic adventure!
