MONTY WILLIAMS: London Routine
"London Routine" is an audiovisual composition which collages material from a drift around southeast London. The footage compiles fragments from a walk around New Cross, Deptford and South Bermondsey, drawn to the transitional spaces around the railway lines. The accompanying soundscape was recorded at the Goldsmiths EMS, reinterpreting my archive of loops. You can see more of Monty Williams's audiovisual work at instagram.com/montyfew

Henry Coke is sonically inspired by the likes of Sufjan Stevens, Nick Drake and Big Thief, yet takes huge influence from Literature, Theatre and Art. His love for Biblical imagery, the thought of  peace in Faith- and Fear itself- works heavily into the meanings behind his music. Throughout the last three years Henry has been playing gigs throughout South-East London alongside producing music for peers and working on songs of his own. Instagram: @henry.coke

KIM AND ARIS (de/recon)struction
This is an improvisational piece motivated by a narrative of man-made destruction to Earth/our environment. Taking inspiration from John Cage, Brian Eno, and Michael Gatonska, we have produced a reminder.

Around us, there often seem to be stages of calm after chaos and vice versa: it is mysterious how the world has a way to balance itself with and without the presence of human life. It is like us, life on its own.

John Cage amplifies the idea that there is no silence around us as sound will remain following our deaths and further connects the intimacy of nature and humanity: “gradually or suddenly, one sees that humanity and nature, not separate, are in this world together; that nothing was lost when everything was given away. In fact, everything is gained”.
