MMus student JPL performs her final degree show in The George Wood Theatre, and live via our festival website
JPL writes: "More than a recital, think of this performance as a love letter. A love letter to the viola, a love letter to music both classical and contemporary, a love letter to women, and most importantly, a love letter to myself. Over the performance, you'll come to learn a lot about all of the above."
Programme:
Harmonic Horizons - Garth Knox
Cello Suite No. 2 - J.S. Bach (with an experimental twist)
Femme Fatale - The Velvet Underground (arranged by JPL)
Melodies Hebraiques - Ravel (arranged for viola, harp and electronics by JPL)
