Vanda Essay (Vanda Hehr) is a London-based, Berlin-raised singer and composer. Vanda Essay creates soulful and groovy pop music, sprinkled with jazz, electronic and funk. Her new set depicts a story of taking up space and reclaiming one's own life after surviving trauma. Influenced by Classical and Jazz, the music comes to life in a pop-orchestral setting, especially arranged for the Albany.
